Unity Tech Demos

These Tech Demos consisted of 4 small individual projects, developed using the Unity Engine and C# at the start of my second year. The purpose of these demos were to test our own knowledge in Unity's physics, UI and animation. The demos 1 and 2 were to recreate simple games called Wake up the Box and Cookie Hamster using Unitys joints system and a minimal use of UI. Demo 3 was all about UI elements within a 2D Escape Room captions were the key to interact. use inventory and type in a code to escape. Demo 4 was an animation showcase where the a 2D character of our choice, performed a variation of animation states: Idle, Run, Jump, Fall, Melee Attack, Hurt and Die.
I found these projects challenging due to the lack of understanding Unitys general mechanics, especially the UI and how to layer it properly which prevented me from completing demo 3 as that was built upon text and buttons. This was also my first experience with animation which I believe met the neccessary standards.
